HMSHost announces this week that the company and its partners have been awarded a new $186 million, 10-year contract to develop new restaurant options for the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) Terminal F food hall.
The new Terminal F dining options will include several restaurants from local entrepreneur Phil Romano and his Trinity Groves business incubator, including a rotating series of dining options such as Souk Kabab House, The Hall Bar & Grill, LUCK (Local Urban Craft Kitchen), and Beto & Son Real Mexican Food.
Romano is also developing the European-style Eatzi’s Market & Bakery, offering gourmet specialties; Cake Bar, which will provide hungry travelers with stunning cakes and other sweets; and Counter Culture Coffee, a boutique roaster with smoothly brewed and sustainably-sourced coffee.
HMSHost is working with partners Java Star and F. Howell Management Services on the DFW Terminal F concession upgrades.
“We are thrilled to build on the robust partnership that HMSHost and DFW Airport already enjoy, and thank DFW Airport’s Board of Directors for the opportunity to continue to innovate with some of the strongest airport and restaurant operations partners from Texas and beyond,” says Steve Johnson, HMSHost president and CEO. “Adding these new restaurant options will result in a bold new offering, bringing some of Dallas’ most exciting food into the airport.”
