The HMSHost Foundation, the charitable arm of HMSHost Corp., celebrated its second anniversary with its annual Invitational Golf Classic in Orlando. The tournament raised more than $200,000.
The funds will be used to support charities fighting poverty in North America. Florida organizations that will benefit from the funds raised include Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, Orlando Rescue Mission and The First Tee in Tampa Bay.
The tournament, with title sponsor AB InBev, included 310 registered golfers during the two-day event. A silent auction was also held.
“As we wrap up the second full year for HMSHost Foundation, it is with great joy that we reflect on the positive impacts that have been made in communities where HMSHost Corporation operates all over North America,” says Paul Mamalian, president of the foundation. “We’ve built great momentum and are very excited to continue to become even more impactful in 2018.”
