HMSHost is offering its own take on the popular “Restaurant Week” that takes place annually in cities across North America, by designating May as Airport Restaurant Month.

The program enables travelers to try tasting menus featuring a choice three appetizers and four entrees at 60 HMSHost-operated restaurants at dozens of North American airports. For busy travelers, HMSHost’s award-winning culinary team created the single-plated dishes specifically with a traveler’s need for speed of service in mind.

“This unique dining event takes travelers on a culinary trip of flavors before they even begin their travels,” says HMSHost vice president of culinary Jeff Steelman. “This Airport Restaurant Month, our chefs came together in the kitchen and were inspired by the abundance of spring produce, some of the latest food trends, and unique takes on travelers’ favorite meals to craft creative menus for an elevated airport dining experience.”

HMSHost is also unveiling a special Airport Restaurant Month cocktail, the Getaway Gimlet, a refreshing spring take on the traditional gin gimlet cocktail. And all travelers who order an Airport Restaurant Month dish in May also receive a dark chocolate sea salt bar to enjoy on their flight
