HMSHost Corp. has launched a recipe contest open to employees and travelers at Chicago O’Hare International (ORD).
The Channel Your Inner Chef contest allows contestants to shoot a five-minute video of themselves preparing their favorite original recipe while showing off their personal style. A panel of culinary experts will select three to five finalists to compete in a cook-off that will be performed in front of a live audience and panel of judges at the airport.
“Chicago is a major restaurant hub teeming with culinary talent, and what better way to celebrate our James Beard Awards sponsorship and dedication to culinary innovation than with the Channel Your Inner Chef event,” says Atousa Ghoreichi, vice president of marketing for HMSHost.
The contest winner will receive two VIP admissions to the James Beard Foundation Awards Gala on May 4 at Lyric Opera of Chicago. The winning dish will be featured on the menu of an HMSHost-operated restaurant at ORD. Entries will be accepted between Feb. 5 and Feb. 28. More details can be found at ChannelYourInnerChef.com.
