HMSHost To Open Christian Moerlein Malt House Taproom At CVG

HMSHost Corp. has partnered with Sheldon B. Poole of J. Q. Enterprises Inc. to bring Cincinnati-based brewery Christian Moerlein Brewing Company to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). Christian Moerlein Malt House Taproom is scheduled to open in CVG’s Concourse A in the summer of 2018.

The original Christian Moerlein Brewing Company opened in Cincinnati in 1853. Christian Moerlein Malt House Taproom at CVG will tap into Cincinnati’s brewing history as a full-service restaurant and bar with an offering of craft beers and matching food selections, including sandwiches, burgers and entrees like the German Sausage Platter. Breakfast options will be available in the morning, and as an added convenience, Christian Moerlein Malt House Taproom will sell a variety of grab-and-go options as well.

“HMSHost is proud to deliver travelers the best dining choices in the industry, and we are excited to enhance the CVG traveler experience with this great local favorite,” says Bryan Loden, HMSHost’s vice president of business development. “Christian Moerlein Brewing Company’s success began nearly two centuries ago and to this day continues to be a favorite across Greater Cincinnati. We are thrilled to work with the CVG team and our partner, J.Q. Enterprises Inc., to introduce Christian Moerlein to the millions of travelers that go through CVG each year.”
