HMSHost Corp. and Paramount Fine Foods will partner to open several new restaurants at Toronto Pearson International (YYZ) over the next year.
Local eatery Paramount, with a focus on fresh, healthy, high-quality and certified halal Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, has opened the first of its two locations.
Paramount Fine Foods is located pre-security in Terminal 1. The eatery’s offerings include baked pita straight from the oven, charcoal barbecued halal meets cooked to order, chicken and beef shawarma with exotic spices and a variety of Manakeesh, a flat-bread style dish with various toppings.
“Our halal food is a healthy, quick and tasty option for the thousands of visitors and locals who walk through the halls of Toronto’s largest airport,” says Mohamad Fakih, CEO of Paramount. “We look forward to the new expansion of Paramount and are excited to have teamed up with HMSHost.”
A second Paramount Fine Foods will open post-security in Terminal 3 next spring.
