Looking to provide travelers with healthier grab-and-go food choices, HMSHost has rolled out its revamped Fresh Attractions line of low-guilt dining options at more than 60 airports across North America.
Fresh Attractions now features more than two dozen items for busy passengers, including a ham and Swiss slider with apricot preserves, Chicken Apple Crunch with fire braised chicken, red cabbage, red apple and dill mayonnaise on multi-grain bread, Beet and Goat Cheese Salad, and Turkey Cranberry Brie – a new take on travelers’ favorite turkey sandwich with brie cheese, arugula, and cranberry chutney.
“With the debut of our revamped Fresh Attractions line, travelers don’t have to sacrifice their mindful eating routines,” says Jeff Yablun, HMSHost executive vice president and chief operating officer. “As innovators for the travel dining scene, HMSHost continues to evolve to bring travelers smarter food choices that are not only naturally nutritious, but better for the environment through the use of sustainable materials and the donation of fresh, surplus food to feed our communities.”
Fresh Attractions now also has transparent packaging with color-coded nutritional labels to clearly identify ingredients and nutrition details and features salad containers made from recycled PET beverage bottles that help further reduce the company’s carbon footprint. Fresh Attractions sandwiches are now sold in eco-friendly paper bags with a window that keeps the sandwiches fresh without posing a threat to the environment.
HMSHost also says that Fresh Attractions food is made daily and that any surplus will be donated to local organizations to help feed those in need.
