HMSHost, Sabet Land Contract At Cairo International

HMSHost Europe has won its first contract at Cairo International (CAI) for dining concessions.

The five-year agreement, in conjunction with local Egyptian business partner Sabet, covers development and operation of five food and beverage locations.

“We are proud to welcome a global partner like HMSHost into the Cairo Airport,” said Jean-Pierre Tabet, chief commercial officer of Cairo Airport Co. “With an enhanced variety of exciting food and beverage concepts for our passengers, HMSHost’s development plans for Terminal 3 will deliver innovative dining and beverage venues with a mixture of local and international brands tailored to meet the needs of our passengers.”

The terminal, slated to open in October, will feature Puro Gusto, a coffee shop offering desserts, sandwiches, salads and snacks; Heineken Bar, featuring specialty beers and entertainment on LCD screens; Saqqara Cafe, a locally inspired concept offering plated, grilled and to-go items including salads and various Shish items; Coffee time, which will have Segafredo coffee, sandwiches, Sakkara beer and international drinks; and Cilantro, based on the local cafe, with coffee, juices, salads and snacks.
