HMSHost has been tapped to open local concept Three Kings Public House in Terminal 2 at St. Louis Lambert International (STL). The St. Louis Airport Commission granted initial approval for an eight-year agreement, which now awaits final approval from the St. Louis City Board of Aldermen. STL made an open call for a local restaurant concept opportunity earlier this year.
Three Kings Public House is expected to open late spring of 2018, with a location adjacent to gate E33. It will feature upscale global pub food, along with house-made infused liquors, an expansive beer cellar list and local craft brews spotlighted on tap. The restaurant offers “clean” menu options and has a philosophy of using whole foods that are minimally processed. It also sources much of its food locally and has extensive composting and recycling strategies in place, HMSHost says.
“Not only is Three Kings Public House an outstanding choice because of their high quality and local pride, their commitment to sustainability sets them apart, and aligns with the airport’s strides in that area,” said Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, director of STL.
The STL location will be the fourth for the concept in the St. Louis area.
