HMSHost Corp. has been awarded a 10-year food and beverage contract at Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX), Terminal 4.
“HMSHost presented a program featuring local restaurants and popular brands that will enhance Phoenix Sky Harbor’s reputation for offering great service to welcome our visitors,” says Danny Murphy, aviation director at PHX. “We eagerly anticipate showcasing some of the best dining in Phoenix here at the airport.”
The company is partnering with local Phoenix, Ariz., restaurateurs Sam Fox of Fox Restaurant Group and Bob Lynn of LGO Hospitality .
In the N2 Concourse, travelers will find Fox concepts Olive & Ivy Marketplace’s salads, soups and sandwiches, plus espresso and coffee drinks; at Modern Burger, burger sliders are on the menu; and at Blanco Tacos + Tequila, there is traditional Mexican fare of guacamole, tacos and margaritas inspired by Baja and Sonora.
Visitors to the S2 Concourse will find Lynn’s brands, including La Grande Orange, offering LGO Burger, LGO Deli and LGO Pizza, along with Grateful Spoon Gelato.
In addition, travelers will find Dilly’s Deli for those needing grab-and-go options; El Bravo on the N3 Concourse, mixing Mexican and Native American traditions; New York Pizza Department (NYPD) for New York-style pizza; Press Coffee, featuring coffee, salads, soups and panini sandwiches; D’licious Dishes, offering salads, sandwiches and desserts; Cowboy Cia on the N4 Concourse, featuring “eclectic American”; la Madeleine, with salads, vegetarian fare and desserts; McDonald’s, serving its famous fare on the N4 Concourse.; and Starbucks, on the N4 and S3 Concourses, offering its signature coffee drinks and snacks. On the S4 Concourse, travelers will find Paradise Bakery, Sir Veza’s Taco Garage and Cartel Coffee Lab. For those who need pre-security sustenance, the Terminal 4 lobby will offer Lynn’s Chelsea’s Kitchen, offering burgers, taco platters and rotisserie meats, and Fox’s Sauce, featuring pizza, salad and pasta. There will also be a Starbucks in the pre-security area.

– The company was awarded a five-year extension to its original contract with the Lee County Port authority. The extension will bring new restaurants to Southwest Florida International (RSW), including Shula’s Bar & Grill, Jose Cuervo Tequileria and The Great American Bagel; it will also include menu updates at HMSHost’s Beaches, Palm City Market, Dewar’s Clubhouse and Sbarro concepts.
– HMSHost’s mobile app, B4YouBoard, has been selected as one of 120 apps for Apple’s “What’s Hot” list out of 15,000 travel apps. The app, which was launched May 5 and is available for iPhones from Apple’s App Store on iTunes, allows travelers going through John F. Kennedy International’s Delta Terminal 3 to order a meal from Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market or Chili’s Too, pay for their meal using their smart phone and have their meals delivered to them at the gate; meals may also be picked up at a dedicated B4YouBoard kiosk. By the end of the year, HMSHost expects to roll the app out at Chicago O’Hare International (ORD) and Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP). B4YouBoard was developed by Airside Mobile LLC.
