HMSHost Corp.’s latest opening puts hockey in the spotlight.
Host’s Avenue des Canadiens restaurant at Montreal-Pierre Elliot Trudeau International (YUL) is inspired the Montreal Canadiens, the city’s National Hockey League team.
“We are extremely excited to partner with Aeroports de Montreal and the Montreal Canadiens to bring travelers and fans this unique dining experience that centers on Montrealers’ love of one of the most successful franchises in NHL history,” says Stephen Douglas, vice president of business development for HMSHost. “HMSHost looks forward to welcoming Montreal travelers with great food, a fantastic atmosphere and overall excellent guest experience.”
The menu, which was created in collaboration with the chef team at Montreal’s Joe Beef, features dishes like smoked salmon a la russe, habs parfait de foie gras, rotisserie-cooked baby back ribs, pan-seared arctic char and signature Club 1909 rotisserie chicken sandwich. Both breakfast and kids menus are available as well.
“Avenue des Canadiens perfectly embodies our renewed offering at Montreal-Trudeau and our comitment to offering a truly Montreal experience rather than something generic,” says James Cherry, president and CEO of Aeroports de Montreal. “This restaurant is part of our two recently opened commercial areas that will significantly expand our commercial services available to passengers, and we are delighted to welcome such a strong brand and symbol to our airport.
