Travelers passing through Denver International Airport (DEN) can now enjoy traditional Scottish treats at the newly opened House of Stewart kiosk. Located near Gate A46, the kiosk features House of Stewart’s signature gourmet caramels, Scottish tablets, and shortbread cookies made with real vanilla bean, heavy cream and pure butter. The certified ACDBE opened as part of the airport’s Small Business Launch Pad program, which supports ACDBE businesses in bypassing airport RFP requirements and is managed in partnership with Provenzano Resources, Inc. “Our program removes significant financial and operational barriers, allowing small businesses to focus on growth while we handle the complexities of airport operations,” said Michael Webb, director of business development for Provenzano Resources, Inc.
House of Stewart’s owner Madison Stewart noted that while their first day in operation faced its hiccups, her team was happy to be up and running at DEN. “Our opening day was full of challenges, everything from navigating to and from the various buildings at DEN, to temporally losing power, to finding our rhythm and place at our new location. But I believe that with some skill, focus and commitment, goals can be achieved,” she said. “We ended the day better than we started and our second day is moving along smoothly. My quote is one credited to Winston Churchill, where he said: ‘Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.’”
