Hudson Names Brown As Vice President

Hudson Group has named Anthony W. Brown its vice president of partner relations and business diversity.

Before joining Hudson, the attorney was with the Federal Aviation Administration’s Office of Civil Rights, where he was Disadvantaged Business Enterprise External Program manager for the Southern region, responsible for implementation, compliance and enforcement of the federal DBE and Airport Concessionaire Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program programs.

“We are delighted to have Anthony on the Hudson Group team,” says Joe DiDomizio, president and CEO of Hudson Group. “His vast knowledge and experience in the area of ACDBE regulations and compliance, combined with his legal and business background, provide our company with expertise and proper guidance in an area of our business that is directly connected to our growth and long-term success. As the industry leader in travel retailing, a seasoned, dedicated team of executive talent continues to be our key point of distinction, and Anthony is a welcome addition to our all-star lineup.”

Prior to his work with the FAA, Brown was a senior associate partner with MGT of America, a research and consulting firm, where he specialized in managing disparity study projects across the country. He has also worked wit the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority as vice president of business diversity, human resources and government affairs, and has held senior level positions with Northwest Airlink, Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals, Time Warner and Harrah’s Entertainment. He also has been a senior trial attorney for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and in private practice, and he is active with the Airport Minority Advisory Council, American Association of Airport Executives, Tennessee Bar Association, Boy Scouts of America and the Mid-South Minority Business Council.

“I am very pleased to join this motivated group of consummate professionals who, in addition to making Hudson the industry leader in airport retail, have demonstrated a consistent and extraordinary commitment to diversity in every facet of the business,” Brown says.
