IND Improves Terminal Garage

Indianapolis International has begun efforts to improve the parking experience at its Terminal Garage near the airport with several initiatives that are underway or will be soon.

Enhancements include concrete repair, the replacement of six staircases surrounding the garage atrium and the rehabilitation of elevators.

The projects will be coordinated to avoid any substantial impact on the number of public parking spaces available, airport officials say.

These are the latest in a series of efforts, including the installation of QR parking location codes in several parking locations across IND, aimed at improving the experience for customers.

“Our guests deserve to enjoy a world-class product in all phases of their airport experience here,” said Michael Wells, president of the Indianapolis Airport Authority board. “This process will result in several important improvements.”
