Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is boosting its dining options for travelers, adding new local favorites and expanding several of the popular restaurants already at the airport.
The popular local brand Harry & Izzy’s will this spring complete its expansion with a larger dining room and bar to make more room for airport travelers to experience that signature St. Elmo’s shrimp cocktail.
The local favorite, HotBox Pizza, will make its airport debut this spring in Civic Plaza. Expected to open this summer are Circle City Beer Garden, offering an expanded food menu along with signature craft beers, wines and cocktails, and The Tap, which will open a 2,000 square foot location in IND Concourse B.
Those new options are on the heels of a number of new restaurants that opened at IND in 2022, including Shake Shack, the new Pacers Courtside Club, Bub’s Burgers & Ice Cream, Bento Sushi, The Farmer’s Market featuring Indiana Grown, Tinker Coffee Café, and Ben’s Soft Pretzels.
Chick-fil-A’s airport location will also undergo a renovation, temporarily closing this month with an expected reopening date in spring 2023.
IND guests can also now use the new IND Order Now service that lets them order their favorite Indy airport food from participating restaurants ahead of time and pick it up at the restaurant.
“This growing list of restaurants is the result of intentional work IND has been doing since before the pandemic to give Indy travelers the food and beverage options they want,” said Mario Rodriguez, executive director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority, operators of IND. “Our current lineup is a winning combination of local favorites and nationally recognized brands that deliver a diverse and expanded dining experience here at the Indy airport.”
