Jackmont Hires Beverage Director

Jackmont Hospitality has hired hospitality industry veteran Gedeon Tsegaye as its new corporate director of beverage. The company said the hiring is in preparation of rapid national growth heading into 2023, including numerous chef-driven concepts at airports across the country. Jackmont Hospitality owns and operates James Beard-nominated One Flew South, celebrity-owned Chicken + Beer, and the recently opened Native by Nyesha at LAX, among other concepts,

Prior to joining Jackmont Hospitality, Tsegaye spent 20 years in the industry, mostly recently serving as the Corporate Mixologist of 50 Eggs Hospitality, a Miami-based company with concepts across the US. In 2021, Tsegaye oversaw the beverage programs of six new multistate restaurant openings, and 10 beverage program rollouts.

Tsegaye will oversee all of the beverage programs for Jackmont and its currently operating restaurants, along with additional concepts that are primed to open in 2023.

Jackmont Hospitality operates a portfolio of more than 40 restaurants and airport concessions, with contracts signed for new restaurants in Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and more within the next 12 months.
