Companies and frequent business travelers flying out of Jacksonville International (JAX) will have access to a pre-paid parking program beginning June 1.
The premium spaces are adjacent to the northside baggage-claim entrance in what is currently the pre-arranged and limo parking lot. Travelers will use a corporate parking card and will not wait to enter or exit the lot.
“We are happy to better accommodate customers who fly regularly on business,” says Michael Stewart, director of external affairs for the Jacksonville Aviation Authority. “This new program is an added luxury and convenience for our valued business travelers.”
There is an introductory rate of $150 per month, including tax, and membership is limited. Members are required to pay a $30 deposit for the card, which is refunded when the card is returned. Cards are transferrable and may be shared by co-workers, family and associates. Parking accommodations are guaranteed for cardholders.
