Janice Holden has been promoted to chief commercial officer of JFK IAT, LLC, the company that operates Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy (JFK).
She will oversee the recently formed commercial department, which combines all revenue-generating activities, such as aviation activities focused on airline development; nonaviation activities including concessions, film shoots, advertising, events and other initiatives, and marketing of Terminal 4.
“Janice Holden is a perfect fit to lead the commercial department for Terminal 4 given her experience in business development and her background in both aviation and nonaviation business,” said Alain Maca, president of JFK IAT. “As a privately operated terminal, we need to continue to adapt our organization to reflect changes in our business and develop our revenue-generating sources through airline development, retail concessions and other, non-traditional means.
“With Janice’s experience in attracting new business and maintaining and developing Terminal 4’s relationships with business partners, including the airlines, the terminal’s retailers, and her expertise in marketing activities, she is sure to succeed as chief commercial officer.”
Holden joined JFK IAT in September 2001 as director of airline marketing and business development, and was later promoted to vice president of marketing and business development. Before arriving at JFK IAT, she worked with Irving Trust’s corporate aviation group, and then worked for Martinair in various marketing roles.
JFK IAT is the only privatized, nonairline management company operating a terminal at a major domestic airport. Terminal 4 serves 45 international and domestic airlines and nearly 9 million passengers each year.
