JFK NTO Announces New Leadership

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)’s New Terminal One (NTO) has appointed a new executive vice president and a new chief legal officer to its executive team. Lisa Studness Reifer will serve as NTO’s executive vice president and chief commercial and strategy officer, joining JFK NTO after two decades with JetBlue, where she served as the head of finance and treasury and led the airline’s strategy, legal and airport affairs teams. Varlin Vissepó will serve as NTO’s chief legal officer, having previously worked as the chief legal officer and corporate secretary at Luis Muñoz International Airport (SJU) operator Aerostar Airport Holdings as well as in senior legal roles at the Federal Aviation Administration, Diebold and Pitney Bowes. JFK’s NTO is part of its $19-billion modernization project and will be built on the site of the airport’s old Terminals 2 and 3.

“As our team advances beyond the developmental phase and gears up for operations for our scheduled opening in 2026, we are building upon our strong foundation of talent with the addition of Lisa and Varlin,” said NTO CEO Jennifer Aument. “We look forward to working with them to deliver a transformational international terminal for our guests and airline customers.”
