John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)’s Terminal 6 developer JFK Millennium Partners (JMP) has announced a new round of RFPs for its terminal operations. JMP, which was selected by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) to build T6 as part of the airport’s $19-billion JFK renovation, seeks partners to manage the terminal’s guest services department, security services, as well as its maintenance and janitorial services. Interested partners will be required to submit diversity participation plans as part of JMP’s commitment to ensuring participation from Minority & Women Business Enterprises (MWBE), Local Business Enterprises (LBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB). The agency expects to select the first set of its guest services, security and maintenance partners by April 2025 ahead of the terminal’s phase 1 opening in 2026.
“As we approach the highly anticipated on-time opening of phase one in 2026, we’re thrilled to begin this important next step in our journey,” said JFK Millennium Partners COO Karen Ali. “We’re excited to partner with firms that share our vision and can help us create an exceptional travel experience for T6 guests, every day.”
