The Broward County Aviation Department which operates the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and North Perry Airport is seeking an Enterprise Assistant Director of Business. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing international Airports in the nation and be a part of a dynamic Airport Concession Program that has increased significantly in the past three years and will continue to grow with the number of food and beverage locations increasing from 39 to over 53 and Retail locations increasing from 27 to over 52 within the next few years. The Assistant Director will lead and oversee a dynamic team of professionals performing work in airport concession management related to the development and management of a multi-million dollar concession program located at the Fort-Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), a large hub airport. The selected candidate will be responsible for concession development and operation, concession tenant relations, participating in facility design and planning, concession procurement, management of various concession agreements, sales and productivity analysis and reporting, interaction with County staff, and supervision of assigned Aviation Department staff. The selected candidate will report to the Enterprise Director of Business. Preference to candidates with strong written and verbal communications skills, bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
$99,649.41 – $159,040.24 Annually, DOQ plus benefits
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, accounting, finance or closely related field. Requires six (6) years of progressively responsible business and financial planning experience in Airport Concession Management, including four (4) years of relevant supervisory and administrative experience.

- Certificate in Retail Management or Food Service Mgmt.
