Job Opportunity: Senior Manager of Properties

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking a full-time, experienced person in airport property management to join the hard working, dynamic Airport Economic Development (AED) team as a Senior Manager of Properties.

The Senior Manager of Properties reports to the Vice-President of Airport Economic Development and serves as a key member of the AED team. This position is responsible for managing the properties and tenant relations program for RTAA outside commercial, general aviation, government, concessions, and airline tenants to enhance non-airline revenue and passenger experience.

Salary: $70,949 – $111,023 annually. Initial salary placement will be based upon experience and qualifications. This is an at-will, salaried position.

Benefits: The RTAA offers a competitive wage and benefit package, which includes 100% employer paid contributions to a distinct, defined benefit retirement program (Nevada PERS). Nevada has no state income tax, and Reno has a comparatively low property tax rate.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in economic or real estate development, business administration, public administration, political science, economics, finance, marketing, or closely related field.

Experience: Five (5) years of full-time, progressively responsible, professional experience in airport property management, which includes two (2) years of supervisory experience in the public sector.

Licensing: A valid driver’s license is required at the time of application.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Comprehensive experience with airport concessions and airline agreements.
