Creative Food Group LLC and Syracuse Hancock International (SYR) have announced the opening of Johnny Rockets.
The all-American restaurant that serves classic, made-to-order burgers is one of the last new restaurant concepts to open as part of the airport’s new contract with Creative Food Group.
“In recent years, we have seen an increased interest in Johnny Rockets restaurants in non-traditional venues, whether that be airports or entertainment venues like Six Flags or casinos,” says James Walker, president of operations and development at Johnny Rockets. “To meet consumer demand, we have revitalized our designs and added new prototypes to fit different footprints. The Johnny Rockets restaurant at the Syracuse International Airport will offer a reduced menu of our best-in-class burgers and fries, as well as offer take out for travelers on the go.”
The restaurant is located post-security in the North Terminal.
