Johnston & Murphy has unveiled a new, larger retail location at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). The apparel store has relocated to an 1,850-square-foot space near the Terminal A/B connector that features updated interiors as well as the national brand’s wide selection of footwear, clothing and accessories. The renovation is one of several planned for other Johnston & Murphy airport locations, including updated locations at Denver International Airport (DEN), Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) and Miami International Airport (MIA) scheduled to open in 2025. The brand also recently opened updated locations at Pittsburgh International AIrport (PIT) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).
“We continue to see growth in retail and are highly encouraged by the rise in foot traffic and sales in our airport locations,” said Danny Ewoldsen, president of Johnston & Murphy. “The Charlotte Airport has proven to be one of our highest volume locations and we are confident that our investment in a larger, updated space in a more highly trafficked area will only drive better results. The airport experience for travelers has improved tremendously over the years and it is our goal to be an integral player in this trend.”
