La Bodega Winery has won three medals at the eighth annual Finger Lakes International Wine Competition on March 29 and 30 in upstate New York.
The winery, at Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW)’s Terminal A, Gate 15, and Terminal D, Gate 14, brought home one silver and two bronze medals.
La Bodega Private Reserve Merlot 2004 won a silver medal. Coming home with the bronze were La Bodega Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 and La Bodega Private Reserve Chardonnay 2005.
The Private Reserve Chardonnay 2005 also took home a bronze medal in another
contest: the 2008 National Women’s Wine Competition.
The winery is owned by Gina Puente-Brancato, president and chief executive officer of Puente-Brancato Enterprises.
