Pittsburgh-based Lami Grubb Architects LP has changed its name to LGA Partners, effective this week.
The move follows more than 20 years of steady growth and a successful merger, company officials say.
“Our new brand and name better reflect our new leadership,” says Suzan Lami, founding partner.
She is referring to the promotion of partners Paulette T. Burns and Jonathan Glance, who both were named principals in the spring 2014. Burns was promoted from within; Glance arrived as a result of Lami Grubb’s merger with his firm, Glance & Associates.
“We felt the emphasis on the word ‘partners’ not only reflects the new management but also our commitment to partnering with clients, stakeholders, contractors and the community as a whole,” Glance says.
Lami Grubb was founded by Suzan Lami in 1993 with her as sole practitioner.
