Los Angeles World Airports’ (LAWA), which oversees Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), announced three new appointments. Marla Bleavins has been named chief airport administrative officer, while Robert Lowe is chief people and culture officer, and Becca Doten is chief of staff.
Bleavins will oversee human resources, commercial development, strategic sourcing, internal audit and ethics, and risk management. She most recently served as deputy executive director and chief financial officer for the Port of Los Angeles.
Lowe comes to LAWA from Republic Airways, where he was vice president of people and culture. At LAWA he will be responsible for shaping LAWA’s team culture and transforming the people systems and experience.
In her new role, Doten will serve as a strategic counsel to the CEO and will oversee key projects, including helping to prepare for FIFA 2026 and the 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games in the city.
