Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) Airports in partnership with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has launched the Sustain with Love water bottle campaign in support of the airport’s move to encourage more sustainable travel. The exclusive LOVE at LAX water bottles by MOBOT, with art design from well-known Los Angeles artist Ruben Rojas, are available at select retail stores beginning December 1.
Throughout the month of December, guests who spend $75 at a specialty retail store in LAX Terminals 1,2,3,6, Tom Bradley International Terminal and West Gates are eligible to receive the bottle as a complimentary gift. The MOBOT water bottle, which doubles as a foam roller, is adorned with artist Ruben Rojas’ signature bold LOVE graffiti, signifying LAX’s dedication to a sustainable future. The bottles are made from 100% recycled stainless steel, non-toxic high-density EVA foam, FDA approved, BPA free and come with stainless steel straws.
URW said it was inspired by LAX’s mission to eliminate single-use plastic water bottles and wanted to celebrate the eco-friendly movement by rewarding guests with a one-of-a-kind water bottle. Guests are encouraged to fill up their water bottle at any of the hydration stations located throughout the airport.
“Eliminating single-use plastic water bottles is essential to improving our environment and enhancing sustainability across our airports,” said Bea Hsu, interim CEO, Los Angeles World Airports. “We thank our partners at URW for supporting our goals for a greener future in a way that is meaningful and useful for our guests, and we look forward to seeing passengers use their new MOBOT water bottle at our hydration stations.”
