Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) said this week it is working with AtYourGate to provide passengers with contactless ordering, payment and pickup from restaurants throughout the airport.
The new service is an expansion of the airport’s popular LAXOrderingNow.com mobile ordering platform and will initially be available in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, including the West Gates at Tom Bradley, which open this month. Additional terminals will be added soon.
Participating restaurants include Vino Volo, Border Grill and ink.sack, with Panda Express and KFC joining the program later this week and more to come.
“Our guests have told us they want greater access to airport information and services through their mobile devices so they can have more control of their travel journey,” said Justin Erbacci, CEO of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), operator of LAX. “Offering food and beverage delivery to the gate areas is yet another game-changing feature that sets the new LAX experience apart for its convenience and range of options.”
AtYourGate delivery is managed by LAX in partnership with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) Airports and mobile ordering provider Servy. AtYourGate delivery team members will be wearing branded apparel to be identified easily and connect quickly with guests who place orders.
