Daily Grill, which is operated by Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services, will remain at Los Angeles International (LAX) until 2013, thanks to a lease extension granted the company.
The restaurant will undergo a major renovation; Delaware North will also announce a completely new, locally branded dining concept at the location in August.
“Providing unique retail experiences for travelers is what we’re all about,” says Bob Stanton, vice president of business development for DNC-THS. “We’re on a constant quest to find innovative brands that reflect the local flair and cultures of the cities and communities where we operate.”
As such, the company features its “Gateway Concept,” which focuses on bringing locally branded concepts to airports and other major public venues.
When renovated, the 8,300 sq. ft. Daily Grill at LAX, in the Bradley International Terminal, will have a more open and expansive floor plan, updated façade and renovated bar area with flat-screen TVs.
“Daily Grill is known for its first-rate fare and a first-class dining experience,” says Phillip Gay, president and CEO of Daily Grill. “Delaware North, with its same high standards for customer service and quality, has allowed us to bring this unique dining experience to millions of travelers at one of the world’s flagship airports. We look forward to this next phase of our partnership.”
