LAX Launches Program to Promote Local Business

Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), operator of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX),  this week announced the launch of the We Fly As One program, which offers a free, unique opportunity for local businesses to promote their products and services by providing incentives to the more than 45,000 people who work at LAX and Van Nuys Airport (VNY).

More than 50 local businesses have pre-registered for the program, which LAWA hopes will spur commerce within the areas surrounding both airports and support enterprises that are still recovering from the pandemic. Participating businesses upload their logo and website link, along with an exclusive offer for badged employees working LAWA airports.

Example offers for LAWA badge holders include discounts from local businesses serving communities including Westchester, El Segundo, Inglewood, Winnetka, Culver City, North Hollywood and many more.

“Our airports are supported by tens of thousands of employees who come from our local communities, and the We Fly As One program is an opportunity to use that economic power to give back to our local businesses, while at the same time providing a benefit to LAX and Van Nuys Airport workers,” said Justin Erbacci, LAWA CEO. “We’re excited for the launch of We Fly As One with an incredible group of neighborhood businesses and we look forward to helping promote these important community partners.”
