Paul Carolan has been hired by Le Duff America to be the global bakery and restaurant company’s chief development officer.
“Paul brings a unique understanding to the position from both the franchisor and franchisee perspective,” says Jim Vinz, co-CEO of Le Duff America. “His expertise in franchise business development, franchise operations and support, real estate, finance and brand growth strategy will provide Le Duff America with a key new member of our senior leadership team.”
Carolan will be focused on growing the Le Duff America brands which include concepts such as Brioche Doree, la Madeleine and Bruegger’s Bagels. He will also oversee the real estate development and franchise departments.

Carolan, with 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, has previously served as vice president of Aramark Corporation in Philadelphia, Pa. He has also worked for HMSHost Corp., Einstein Bros. Bagels as executive vice president of development and, most recently, Sun Capital Partners as vice president of development.
