Effective July 21, Robert Lewis will become concessions manager of compliance and quality control at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL).
In his new role, Lewis will oversee the day-to-day operations of concessionaire activities to ensure compliance with health, sanitation and safety standards.
“Robert will be responsible for concessionaires’ ongoing deliverance of excellent customer service and opening-day-fresh experiences to our many passengers, employees and well-wishers,” said Paul Brown, director of concessions.
Lewis has been with ATL since October 2009. His most recent position with the airport was as concessions compliance specialist over food safety and pest control. Before joining the airport, he was the health inspector for Clayton County.
He is certified in eight critical disciplines in compliance and safety management, including pest control, life safety and food-borne illness prevention. He also is certified in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, a preventive approach to food safety developed by NASA.
