Travelers who want to come home to a clean car at Blue Grass (LEX) now
have the option of having their car detailed while they are away.
Republic Parking, which operates the airports’ parking facility, is
offering valet customers interior and exterior car detailing. Basic
detailing is $40 per car/$45 per SUV/truck, and includes hand washing,
window cleaning, interior vacuuming, tire cleaning and interior dash
and console cleaning. For a more comprehensive cleaning, there is a
full detail package; in addition to the basic services, this includes
hand waxing, stain removal of carpets and seats, bug removal, dash and
console polishing and leather seat conditioning. Cost is $130 per
car/$160 per SUV/truck.
“We encourage our passengers to take advantage of this new amenity and
the convenience it offers,” says Eric Frankl, executive director of
Blue Grass. “We are very sensitive to the busy lives that our customers
lead and hope this new service provides an affordable option to help
make their travel experience easier.”
Only valet customers can take advantage of the new services. Valet parking rates are $13 per day.
