EWR Terminal One LLC is an US-based subsidiary of the German Airport Operator Munich Airport. EWR Terminal One LLC is responsible for the maintenance and concession management at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Terminal A, and will be responsible for the operations, maintenance and concession management of the new Terminal One at EWR which is currently under development and is scheduled to open in fall 2021.
We are looking for an experienced professional to ensure the smooth operation of the Existing Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport and to support the transition of commercial operations to the New Terminal 1 at EWR.
Main responsibilities include:
– Main point of contact for current concessionaires of Terminal A at EWR for all aspects of their operations
– Identifies Quick Wins and revenue enhancement measures for the Existing Terminal A in order to optimize and increase commercial performance
– Supports the transition of the Commercial Program at the Existing Terminal A
– Manages projects within the Commercial program (relocations, enhancements, lease modifications, approval processes, marketing activities and events et.)
– Manages Commercial Marketing, Innovation and Communication Activities
– Set-up of efficient and smart processes for the key account management and commercial operations
– Develops strong relations with all commercial stakeholders within the terminal and at EWR airport
– Sets up and attends regular tenant meetings
– Monitors accounting and financial activities related to the Concession Program in close collaboration with the Finance Department
– Supports Commercial Controlling, Budgeting and Reporting
Qualification skills of job holder
– Holds a university degree or equivalent in business, commerce, communications or a relat-ed field of study, alternatively professional experience within the required field of expertise
– Experience in a large, complex airport environment is an asset.
– Self-confident, positive and consumer focused. Committed to providing the highest value and services to customers.
– A “people’s person” with excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) towards clients, colleagues and business partners. Takes a ‘partnership approach’ with stakeholders.
– Creativity and affinity for marketing activities in order to drive sales and surprise passengers
– Project management skills advisable in order to implement ideas and measures
– Proficiency in relevant IT systems such as Microsoft Office 365
– Diligent in financial analysis and reporting
– Team player who works jointly towards a common goal and vision and contributes to the team both professionally and personally.
– Has a positive attitude. Takes responsibility and ownership of the assigned tasks. Integrity, openness, fairness and transparency. Open to receiving constructive feedback and takes follow-up action.
– Knowledge of additional languages beneficial.
