MarketPlace Logan, manager of the Boston Logan Concessions Program, announced several new restaurant openings. A second Wahlburgers, Sal’s Pizza, Boston Harbor Distillery, Gachi Sushi and Noodles and other concepts will greet passengers at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). The airport also has a new duty free offering for international travelers.
“As travelers’ needs continue to evolve, we are excited to bring even more iconic and local favorites, as well as innovative options to make the overall travel experience more efficient and enjoyable, which is something that we strive for here at Boston Logan,” said Michael DiCosola, president of MarketPlace Development. “These new arrivals will not only elevate the experience but will make a positive impression for those who make Boston Logan their first stop when visiting our city.”
Boston Logan will also be the first U.S. airport to debut a world-class duty-free experience of global brands infused with local flavor and flair by Dufry (now Avolta), with an 11,000-square-foot walk-through concept and mixed-use space, featuring four shopping zones inspired by two of Boston’s most iconic neighborhoods, Back Bay and Jamaica Plain.
A second duty free shop will offer The Connoisseur Collection, an intimate drinking lounge and shop with a tasting bar and discovery table, inspired by Boston’s Rowes Wharf trading port. Both duty free shops are located in Terminal E.
Also located in Terminal E, Boston Harbor Distillery, operated by SSP America, will offer travelers the opportunity to sample whiskey varieties that have aged in the famous bonded barrel storage warehouse, along with small batch gin, rum, decadent liqueurs and even distilled beer from Sam Adams.
Sal’s Pizza will offer travelers on the options including specialty pies, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast strombolis. The popular Boston fast-casual burger favorite, Wahlburgers has opened a second Boston Logan location in the Terminal E Food Court,, which will also feature the airport’s iStore location, by InMotion.
Located in Terminal C, Gachi Sushi and Noodles features Japanese infused dishes like Frushi breakfast rolls, sushi made with the freshest ingredients at any time of the day in a comfortable sleek atmosphere while dining in at Gachi. There are also grab-and-go options with pre-packaged sushi rolls and appetizers to accommodate quick service.
