Retailers at Philadelphia International (PHL) are featuring a variety of special offerings throughout the month of December.
Special gift tables will be outside stores from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the B/C Connector and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily in the D/E Connector. Plus, passengers who spend at least $150 at any combination of Philadelphia MarketPlace retailers will get a free holiday ornament of the Philadelphia skyline. The ornament will be available through Dec. 24 or while supplies last. To qualify, shoppers must show their same-day receipts at Roster, which is in the B/C Connector.
After they’ve purchased their presents, travelers can use the free gift-wrapping service in the B/C Connector from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Dec. 1-23 and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 24; shoppers need to present a receipt from a PHL retailer to take advantage of the service.
“We hope our busy holiday travelers feel the spirit of the season this month at PHL,” says Mel Hannah, vice president and general manager of MarketPlace PHL.
In addition, PHL’s Paradies stores have partnered with the Liberty USO of Pennsylvania & Southern New Jersey for the Treat Our Troops program. Items from Paradies can be purchased and donated to Liberty USO. The company also will be collecting toys for Toys for Tots.
Also, Santa will make appearances from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 1-24 and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 10-24. He also will be available from 3 to 6 p.m. Dec. 18-24 in the B/C Baggage Claim. Meanwhile, “Secret Santas” will roam the airport, giving out free gifts donated by retailers to military personnel in uniform to thank them for their service.
Finally, carolers will bring music to PHL on the following dates:

- 2-4 p.m. Dec. 12

- 1-3 p.m. Dec. 19
