MarketPlace To Hold Outreach For DCA Concessions Opportunities

MarketPlace Development will hold an outreach forum on June 4 to preview retail and food and beverage concessions opportunities for “Project Journey,” Reagan National Airport’s (DCA) new 14-gate concourse.

The outreach forum is targeted at local, regional, and national retailers; quick-service food operators; and restaurateurs to get a first look at the upcoming opportunities that will be available for lease at the concourse. Other opportunities at DCA and Dulles International Airport (IAD) will also be presented, Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority said.

Project Journey, a $1 billion investment to expand existing infrastructure at DCA, is underway. The current facilities at DCA were designed to serve 15 million passengers per year, but more than 23 million passengers travel through the airport annually. MWAA says the project will provide passengers with greater connectivity, more shopping and dining choices, and a more pleasant post-security environment.

The forum is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Residence Inn Arlington Capital View Hotel. Registration is required at http://bit.ly/dcaleasing by Monday, June 3rd.
