Master ConcessionAir and partner Airbrands, in a joint venture called Chicago Hospitality Partners, have opened two restaurants at O’Hare International Airport’s Terminal 5.
The Hampton Social, a Hamptons-inspired lifestyle restaurant, features a coastal cuisine and wine program. The airport restaurant is inspired by the streetside location of the same name, which opened in Chicago’s River North neighborhood in 2015. The restaurant offers seasonal and reimagined dishes in addition to tried-and-true Hampton favorites. Pizzas, soups, salads, and breakfast-centered brunch plates are also available along with an assortment of sides and dessert. The Hampton Social showcases a robust selection of rosés with the special “Rosé All Day” and the brand’s signature frozen drink, the Hampton Frosé. A selection of wines, specialty cocktails and beers are also available.
Bar Siena is another local favorite to open at ORD T5 – the original opened in 2015 at a West Loop Chicago location. Bar Siena’s menu pays homage to various regions of Italy and features a selection of Italian street food and pizzas. Travelers wanting lighter fare can choose from a variety of menu items, all made from scratch using only the freshest ingredients.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to play a part in the ongoing dining modernization by bringing two local favorites with unique ambiance and iconic menus, both concepts are exciting additions to O’Hare International Airport,” said Peter Amaro, CEO of Master ConcessionAir. “We are thrilled to bring travelers a culinary experience sure to enhance their travel journey and leave a lasting impression. This aligns perfectly with our commitment to bring Chicago O’Hare International Airport a local sense of place.”
John Wober, president of Airbrands, called the airport opening a “game changer” for his company. “As a small, minority-owned business, this opportunity to open a restaurant at O’Hare, partnering with these world-class restaurateurs, is a proud moment for me and my family,” he said.
