Kansas City International Airport (MCI) will open an Escape Lounge by CAVU at the terminal this winter. Located on Concourse A near gate 5, the lounge will be open to all MCI travelers, regardless of airline, status or card in hand.
The pay-per-visit lounge will offer travelers a relaxing ambiance and premium food and beverage favorites, all designed to evoke a uniquely Kansas City sense of place inspired by The City of Fountains. The new lounge will celebrate and support ACDBEs and local businesses as well, the airport said.
Lounge amenities include a chef-curated menu; local wines, beers and spirits; power outlets, high speed wifi and up-to-date flight information; and a digital library with more than 7,000 publications from 120-plus countries, courtesy of PressReader.
