Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) this week announces that Saron McKee is becoming the airport’s first manager of access and accessible programs, charged with ensuring flying to and from Philadelphia is accessible to all travelers.
McKee joins PHL from the Philadelphia Mayor’s Office where she served as director of ADA compliance and led the training of 150 city ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) liaisons to ensure that qualified individuals with disabilities could participate in the city’s programs, services and activities.
“It is important that all our facilities and services are accessible to everyone,” says Chellie Cameron, PHL CEO. “Having a team member with Saron’s expertise and experience in the Americans with Disabilities Act and ADA-related matters will enhance our efforts in ensuring our accessibility.”
