Orlando International Airport (MCO) said this week it is adding new vending machines to increase passenger retail shopping options while still minimizing face-to-face contact with sales staff.
Eight machines were placed throughout the four airsides, carrying a mix of new products to MCO, including brands such as LEGO kits, Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Skin and Sound & Mobile.
“Updating the type of products the traveling public can purchase at Orlando International improves customer service and the overall experience at our world-class airport,” said Phil Brown, chief executive officer for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA). “Beyond that, it was also crucial for us to create a retail experience that reduces human interaction as we continue to combat the coronavirus.”
MCO also unveiled two new Service Animal Relief Areas and enhanced, automated hand sanitizer stations throughout the terminal.
