Miami Beach-based Icebox Cafe has brought The Mediterranean Kitchen, a quick-serve concept, to Miami International (MIA).
The concept, which will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., offers healthy, all-natural, grab-and-go food, as well as an organic juice bar, a smoothie station, and freshly made sandwiches and wraps.
Located at Gate D28, The Mediterranean Kitchen is Icebox Cafe’s third airport concept. The company has one other location at MIA and has one open at Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW), with a second scheduled for later this year.
“We are proud to bring The Mediterranean Kitchen, an exclusive Mediterranean experience, to MIA, the largest gateway to the Latin America/Caribbean region and the second leading gateway to the U.S.,” says Robert Siegmann, founder and owner of Icebox Cafe. “Many mindful travelers have parlayed their healthy eating habits to what they consume at airports. The Mediterranean Kitchen offers travelers unexpectedly upscale comfort in the form of fresh, natural, well-prepared delicious food served in a warm and friendly setting.”
