MIA Adds Local Cigar Vendor To Retail Lineup

Cuban Crafters, a local boutique cigar vendor, has opened its first airport location at Miami International (MIA).

The shop is in the new North Terminal Marketplace.

“Cuban Crafters is the latest example of our ongoing efforts to diversify our concession offerings and increase local small business participation at MIA,” says Emilio T. Gonzalez, Miami-Dade aviation director. “We are proud of our track record for providing these firms with growth opportunities at the top economic engine in Miami-Dade County.”

The North Terminal Marketplace, located between gates D-26 and D-29, features locally themed concepts such as Cuban Crafters that aim to provide a sampling of Miami’s diverse demographics, from Caribbean and Mediterranean food to stone crabs and empanadas. Cuban Crafters is the second location in the marketplace, following a Miami Marlins store that launched in December. The remaining locations are expected to open this summer.
