Creative Food Group LLC has been awarded a 12-year contract at Midland International (MAF) to be the exclusive food and beverage concessions provider.
The company began operating at the airport in March, after it purchased the contract and assets from another concession operator at the end of February. It renovated an old food court and installed its Market Fresh International Fine Food.
The airport issued a request for proposals in July, and Creative Food Group proposed three brands: Market Fresh International Fine Food, PAX Bar and Eatery, and Pepper’s Mexican Grill and Cantina. The contract was awarded Aug. 21. The existing restaurants will be renovated and divided into three food and beverage concepts.
At Market fresh International Fine Food, consumers will find a gourmet market offering sandwiches, pizzas and Jamba Go. PAX Bar and Eatery will offer burgers and select menu items from popular local restaurants. Pepper’s Mexican Grill and Cantina’s menu includes Tex-Mex, tequilas and margaritas; there will also be a take-out and grab-and-go component.
