Miller Named Executive Director At Hollywood Burbank

TBI Airport Management Inc., the management firm of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority, has named Frank Miller as executive director of Hollywood Burbank (BUR). Miller, who will begin his new role on Sept. 6, will oversee day-to-day operations.

Dan Feger, the current executive director, will assume a newly created position, director of development services, where he will concentrate on shepherding the planning, design, financing and construction of a 14-gate replacement terminal.

Miller brings more than 33 years of aviation experience to BUR. He most recently served as the aviation director of the San Antonio International (SAT) and Stinson Municipal (SSF), a position he held from 2009 until the start of this year, when he resigned. Prior to his position in San Antonio, Miller served 22 years as the airport director for Pensacola Regional (PNS).

“Frank’s strong background in the airport industry, along with his excellent reputation for performance and community involvement, make him eminently qualified to pick up the torch at BUR,” said Larry Gouldthorpe, president of TBI’s U.S. operations. “We appreciate the participation, professionalism and diligence of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority in the selection process. Their involvement in this process was critical in arriving at the right choice for the future of the airport and influencing how it will impact the surrounding community going forward.”
