Mission Yogurt Bringing Holiday Cheer To Travelers, Local Community

Mission Yogurt Inc. has created a complimentary local wine, beer and spirits tasting event that will take place on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at Timberline Steaks & Grille on Denver International’s (DEN) Concourse C through the end of 2014.

The first event took place Nov. 19; they continue Dec. 3, when the company will be offering Palisade, Colo.-based Colterris Wines. Denver-based Mile High Spirits will be featured Dec. 17 and Denver-based Infinite Monkey Theorem sparkling wines will be available on New Year’s Eve.

Mission Yogurt owns and operates Timberline Steaks & Grille. The offering may be expanded and offered at other company-operated restaurants at DEN, Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International (SJC) and San Diego International (SAN).

In other company news, Mission Yogurt will donate 2,000 turkeys and chickens to Denver’s Sam Sandos Christmas Basket Program for the eighth consecutive year.

The program formed in 1978 to provide assistance to local families who are facing hard times during the holiday season. It offers those families food baskets complete with a poultry item and an assortment of trimmings.
