MKE Extends HMSHost Lease

Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) has extended HMSHost by Avolta lease by two years. The concessionaire will now continue to operate its MKE concepts through 2031. During its tenure at MKE, HMSHost has opened a wide variety of concessions concepts, from national brands like Starbucks and Chili’s and recently opened Dunkin’ to outposts of local favorites like Cousins Subs, Garden District Kitchen and Bar, and Miller Brewhouse. HMSHost currently operates 10 MKE dining concepts as a joint venture with ACDBE partners Limitless Brands and Newburns Management Group.

“MKE Airport is known for its excellent customer experience, offering the friendly convenience of a small airport, with the capabilities and amenities of a large airport. Our partnership with HMSHost allows us to cultivate an outstanding airport dining experience by providing a blend of popular favorites alongside local Milwaukee flavors,” said airport director Brian Dranzik. “The unveiling of two new Dunkin’ locations at MKE has already been met with excitement from travelers, and we look forward to working with HMSHost to enhance the passenger experience even more in the years to come.”

“HMSHost is pleased to continue to grow our valued partnership with Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, and we can’t think of a better way to continue this exciting journey together than by bringing not one, but two Dunkin’ locations to the terminal. We have no doubt that passengers will love this evolution of the food and beverage options,” added HMSHost vice president of business development Stephen Douglas. “We look forward to continued collaboration that will further enhance this dynamic airport’s concessions offerings as we deliver on our promise to make every journey as rewarding as the destination for travelers.”
