Davita Brown-Miller has been named the assistant manager in the business diversity development compliance office of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority.
In her new role, she will be responsible for overall contract compliance and monitoring of the DBE and SMWBE programs for the MNAA.

Brown-Miller will be responsible for participating in RFP evaluations; attending pre-bid and bid opening meetings; and monitoring and ensuring prime contractor compliance. She will review third-party contracts and lease agreements for compliance with the MNAA business diversity development program, as well as gather and report statistical and other information on DBE/SMWBE matters to the airport authority.
Before working for the MNAA, she was the lead compliance specialist for the Metro Government of Nashville and Davidson County, handling business development and contract compliance. She has also worked for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, Medical Staffing Network Inc., Mid-South Minority Business Council and Memphis Light, Gas and Water.
Brown-Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University, and is pursuing a master’s degree at Austin Peay State University.
