Anthony F. Montepare has joined SSP America as its senior vice president of procurement.
He will lead the company’s procurement team, which provides oversight on purchasing and distribution of goods and services across its North American operations.
Montepare has been in the foodservice industry for more than 30 years, most recently serving as vice president of business needs for the healthcare and business and industry channels at Foodbury LLC, a member of the global food service management company Compass Group USA. In that position, he was part of a team that delivered 15 consecutive years of successful purchasing results tied to more than $3 billion in channel-managed volumes, SSP officials say.
